Aspirating Fire Detection System (VESDA)

An Aspirating Fire Detection System (AFDS) is an advanced fire detection solution designed to provide very early warning of fire by continuously sampling air from the protected area. It uses a network of small pipes with sampling holes to draw air into a highly sensitive smoke detector. The system can detect minute smoke particles at the incipient stage of a fire, much earlier than conventional smoke detectors.
